The 10 things you always wanted to ask at the reception, but never could
(probably because you never stayed here)

1 What time does the red light area open?
Red Lil is usually up and about around 10 o'clock or so… Blonde Greet is usually half an hour later, because she has to put in her contact lenses first.

2 What time does the red light area shut?
Red Lil usually finishes around 10 o'clock or so… Blonde Greet is usually half an hour later, because she has to find her glasses first before she can take her lenses out.

3 Where is the red light area?
You notice it best in a car or taxi. It's usually positioned on top of the traffic light sequence, closely followed by orange and green.

4 What can one see in the red light area?
Mainly boys and girls, men and women. The odd, lost Salvation Army person and of course lots of red lights. ( Although the more modernised establishments will have blacklights too! )

5 What can one do in the red light area?
We never really discovered that one ourselves. Walk around seems to be the answer here, because that's what most people seem to do. Or you can go into a bar and have a drink of course…

6 Is it safe to walk in the red light area?
No. There are too many distractions that have made many a person stumble, or even fall flat on their noses or in the canal. You have been warned!

7 Is it safe to cycle in the red light area?
See answer above.

8 Is it safe to have sex in the red light area?
Only if and when your wife doesn't catch you out.

9 Have you ever been to the red light area yourself?
No, but I've read the book twice.

10 Do you think I should go to the red light area?
I was wondering why you are still sitting here, reading this.
